A George III white enamelled gold memorial ring and an antique flowerhead ring, the broad flat band ring with lettering against white enamel ground reading ‘Rt Jc Tanner, Ob 9 June 1814, Ae 1y 5ms 20ds’, between fine black enamel borders, the interior inscribed ‘Mr R. Tanner, died the 29th Oct 1817, aged 43’, hallmarked for London, 1814 and bearing maker’s mark ‘I.P’; the flowerhead ring centred with a rose-cut white stone within a surround of black enamel petals, between scroll engraved shoulders. £150-£200
