Edward III (1327-1377), Post-Treaty period, Noble, Calais, Gp III, mm. cross pattée on rev. only, flag at stern, reads hib and aqvit, saltire stops, rev. e and pellet in centre, double saltire stops, post-Treaty lettering both sides, 7.67g/4h (LAL Gp III; Doubleday 302; SCBI Schneider 115; N 1281; S 1521). Legends weak in places and small scratch in waves, otherwise good very fine £2,500-3,000
