EARLY HIGHLIGHTS SHOW THAT 2026 IS FULL OF PROMISE
Noonans’ first jewellery outing for 2026 promises be a strong start to the year, with a fine selection of highlights already previewing on the website.
Diamonds feature strongly in the sale, a highlight promising to be a single stone, platinum-mounted, brilliant-cut diamond ring of 3.02 carats estimated at £20,000-26,000.
With the current strength of the market for old-cut diamonds, a single stone pendant, claw set with an old cushion-cut diamond weighing 4.98 carats and pitched at £12,000-15,000, is sure to please, while an 18ct gold and diamond collar necklace and ear clips suite by David Graham is expected to fetch £10,000-15,000. The necklace is designed as a sprung wirework collar centred with a detachable stylised bow, pavé set with brilliant-cut diamonds, the ear clips of confirming design, the suite with a total diamond weight of approximately 14 carats.
A diamond pendant, with a principal old-cut diamond weighing 7.46 carats, mounted beneath a trio of single-cut diamonds, is another piece to look out for. Suspended from a wirework scrolling figure-of-eight panel, with three brilliant-cut and two baguette-cut diamond highlights, it carries hopes of £9,000-12,000.
An elegant 18ct gold and diamond bracelet, retailed by Moussaeiff, composed of diagonal articulated domed panels, each pavé set throughout with brilliant-cut diamonds, with a total diamond weight of approximately 21.40 carats, is estimated at £6,000-8,000.
“We are delighted to be offering a strong selection of jewellery for our first auction of the year, and with the addition of final consignments, we look forward to presenting a high quality and varied catalogue for our upcoming March auction,” said Frances Noble, Head of Department.
Further highlights, including watches, silver and objects of vertu, will be previewed in the next newsletter.
