CC17). Coin good fine, countermark very fine, toned, rare £3,000-£4,000

The coins form a complex series, stamped at various different rates, using several different shapes and each stamp is individually numbered - the only example of this in the entire countermarked issue. The 4/9d issue probably dates from c. 1800 [Manville pp.39
ff].
