Late Period (664-332 BC), a bronze seated figure of Harpocrates, nude wearing plumed sun disc, right forefinger raised to mouth, left arm down at his side, 27.55g, 69cm x 19cm. Good fine with an olive green patina and red cuprite deposits, an old break just below the knees £100-£150

Found near the site of the Helmingham Hall Hoard, this antiquity is highly unusual as it was found in Britain. We can say with no certainty how it made its way from Egypt to England.
