Kings of Mercia, Coenwulf (796-821), Penny, East Anglia [Ipswich?], Herbert, coenvvlf rex m, bust right breaking inner circle, wearing diadem with prominent jewel, rev. + herebert around cross-crosslet with pellet in each angle, 1.36g/11h (Naismith E9.1f, different dies of very similar style; N 364; S 920). A full round coin with a superb portrait, good very fine £2,000-£3,000
