British Iron Age, DUROTRIGES, Uninscribed issues, silver Stater, Spread Tail type, devolved head of Apollo, comprising wreath, cloak and crescents, two pellets above curve of spike, rev. disjointed horse left, small rectangular head, body of crescents, four vertical legs, three diverging lines for tail, pellets between lines, pellets above, coffee bean above tail, large pellet below, 5.19g/2h (ABC 2160; BMC 2662, 2690; VA 1238-1; S –).
