Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Groat, 1644, mm. floriated cross on obv. only, Rawlins’ bust with lion’s head on shoulder, rev. Declaration, three Shrewsbury plumes above, date and ox below, 1.74g/12h (Morr. obv. B; SCBI Brooker 956-7, same obv. die; N 2462/2; S 2985A). Legends weak in places, otherwise good fine and toned, rare £400-£500
