Early Anglo-Saxon Period, Sceatta, Secondary series K, type 32a, draped bust left, cross pommée held up by cupped hands towards parted lips, knotted wreath ties behind, rev. wolf-headed serpent, with long, curling tongue and pellet eye, pellet body wound around, 1.03g/8h(cf. SCBI Abramson 407 [drapery style slightly different]; Abramson 39-10; S 803D). A little weakly struck, otherwise very fine, well centred, rare thus £400-£500
