Rolex. A stainless steel automatic dual time wristwatch with date, Ref. 16700, GMT-Master, ‘Pepsi’, circa 1997.
Movement:
cal. 3175, automatic, 31 jewels.
Dial: black, dot, triangular and baton indexes, magnified date aperture, centre seconds.
Case: stainless steel Oyster case, screw-down back and crown, calibrated ‘Pepsi’ bezel, no. T549526, stainless steel Jubliee bracelet.
Signed: case, dial, movement and bracelet.
Dimensions: diameter 39mm, bracelet circumference approximately 195mm.
Accessories: punched guarantee, booklet, spare link, tags and presentation case.

Rolex introduced the first GMT-Master in 1955. Originally designed as a dual-time tool watch for airline pilots, it enabled wearers to track multiple time zones simultaneously. Produced from 1988 to 1999, the reference 16700 marked the final chapter of the GMT-Master line before it was succeeded by the GMT-Master II collection.

Movement: running at the time of cataloguing, hands and date advancing.
Dial: in good condition.
Case: some minor scuffs but overall in good condition.
