mostly in gold/silver-toned brass, comprising:
a ‘Pianette’ purse, in outer sleeve,
two purses applied with costume jewels, in carrying sleeves
a basket-weave purse, with carrying sleeve,
a ‘Golden gesture’ hand-shaped compact,
a ‘Lip-Lock’ compact,
a ‘Pianette’ compact,
and a ‘Silhouette’ coach and horse compact,
mostly with original packaging, largest length 14cm. (8)

Volupté was an American company operating from the mid 1920s, based in Fifth Avenue in New York. The firm became a dominant market leader in the 1940s and 1950s, celebrated for its glamorous and novelty products.
