Banque de Syrie et du Liban, Lebanon, 100 Livres, 1 December 1945, serial number K.1 772, Busson and Letayf signatures, obverse with ornate and stylised camels, birds, flowers and filigree, reverse showing snowy mountains and cedar tree in the Bsharri region, some fairly minor repairs, mainly to splits and small tears, in PMG holder 30, very fine, of overall attractive and fresh appearance and an excellent example of the inimitable ‘Carpet Note’
