Place BidCurrency Commission, Royal Bank of Ireland, £10, 6 May 1929, serial number 01RT000001, Brennan and Stanley signatures, small tear, previously mounted, in PMG holder 55, about uncirculated, a fantastic banknote in scarcely believable condition, the only other example of a Royal Bank £10 on the PMG population report is a 25, the small tear mentioned on the holder is located at the top centre of the note and does not enter into the design, in fact it is barely discernible even under intense scrutiny, a glorious example of a £10 Ploughman with an incredible serial number 1, a joy to see one of the most iconic banknotes in the world in all its glory, magnificent!
PMI CRB 3, Pick 46 £8,000-£10,000
This item has been graded by PMG and has been awarded grade 55, about uncirculated.
