England, Duke of Lauderdale, 1672, a silver medal by J. Roettiers, bust right, armoured and draped in Roman style, rev. Minerva seated holding spear and ducal helm, his armorial bearings within Garter at her side, 63mm, 98.11g (MI I, 550/208; E 248). Die flaws both sides and associated rim flaw on obverse, otherwise about as struck, toned £800-£1,000
