The Wehrmacht Ground/ Air Identification Flag was the same design as the Nazi national flag, but with a circular white disc with the swastika stitched separately to the red flag. Metal rings at either end of the panel exist to allow it to be tied, extended, to the top of a vehicle or tank; or pegged out on the ground.
