A German Second World War K98 Bayonet. A very good matched number bayonet with the blade retaining virtually all of its original blueing, numbered 9586 which matches the number stamped to the front of the scabbard. Bakelite grips. Waffen amt stamp to the upper pommel with the blueing remaining. All placed in its original scabbard, which does have an indentation close to the base and its original leather frog, which is maker marked and indistinctly marked 1938, good condition £40-£60
