A German Second World War Luftwaffe Officer’s Visor Cap. The very heavily service worn Luftwaffe officer’s visor cap, which is ‘Erel’ double marked, with the original owner’s name tag ‘Lt. Ernst Loos’ to the centre celluloid lozenge. One minor moth nip to the crown, heavily shredded waffenfarbe, with its completely original but slightly oxidised national eagle and cockade with matching chinstraps. The interior sweatband is complete but loose from the body. Extensive wear to the interior but still complete with its silver blocked ‘Erel’ maker’s logo underneath the undamaged lozenge. Erel marked also to the mid tan sweatband. One side button for the cords has been replaced, although this cap has laid flattened for many years its original form can be restored, therefore fair condition £100-£140
