Hiberno-Scandinavian period, Phase II, Penny, series B, in imitation of the Long Cross type of Æthelred II, with the name of Sihtric and a semi-blundered rev. legend, zhitr · c re + dy, bust of coarse style with oval eye, pellet in front, cross pommée behind, wishbone ornament on neck, rev. fereiii mo dne, pellet in each angle, 1.32g/12h (Dolley A3/c; Roth, pl. iii, 52, this coin; SCBI BM 70ff; SCBI Ulster 96; Lane 35ff; S 6125; DF 23). Slightly crimped, otherwise good very fine, excellent portrait £400-£500
