Charles II (1660-1685), Shilling, 1666, first bust variety, elephant below, no stop before dei, stop after hib, harp with 5 strings (ESC 507 var. [1026]; S 3373). Obverse very fine, reverse extremely fine with some mint bloom but with adjustment mark on French arms, very rare; among the finest available to commerce £4,000-£5,000
