Henry IV (1399-1413), Light coinage: Primary series, Groat, London, type II, mm. cross pattée, 8-arc tressure, annulet to left and pellet to right of crown, slipped trefoil on breast, 3.58g/3h (Stewartby P II; Potter II-1/II-2; N 1359a; S 1727). Excavated state, wavy flan, edge cracked and with a chip at 8 o’clock, extremely rare £900-£1,200

The vendor’s ticket states that the coin was previously with a dealer in East Anglia, which might suggest a metal detector find from that area c. 2009
