Edward the Confessor (1042-1066), Cut Halfpenny, Pointed Helmet type, Hythe, Guthred, [gv]dræd on hy[de], 0.52g/12h (Freeman 6; FEJ 388, same dies [= Eaglen Sale 1418]; BMC 569, same dies; N 825; S 1179). Excavated, good fine, excessively rare; believed only the fourth known Anglo-Saxon coin of the mint £100-£150
