Kings of Mercia, Offa, Penny, Light coinage, Canterbury, Eoba, of in pelleted square with line of pellets projecting diagonally from each corner, rm below, Latin cross above and ornaments at sides, rev. e o b a in angles of cross fleury, central annulet containing saltire of pellets, 1.12g/9h (Chick 106a, this coin [= SCBI Mack 552 = Lockett, NC 1920, pl.ix, 5 = Lawrence, SNC February 1895, col. 1049-50]; same dies as EMC 2006.0035; Blunt 17; N 271; S 904). About very fine, very rare £1,000-1,500
