Early Anglo-Saxon Period, Sceatta, Secondary series S1, type 47, female centaur left with beaded tail dividing palm fronds, no finial, rev. whirl of four wolf heads clockwise, beaded tongues meet in centre, 1.11g/12h (Abramson 68.10; M 438; N 121; S 814). Good very fine and toned, rare £180-220
