Early Anglo-Saxon Period, Sceatta, Secondary series J, type 37, two heads vis-à-vis, cross between, rev. whorl of four birds in linear style around central cross, 0.95g (Abramson 19.30; M 296ff; N 135; S 802A). Reverse a trifle off-centre, otherwise about extremely fine with excellent portraits, light grey tone £200-260
