Allectus (293-296), Antoninianus, ‘C’ mint, 293-5, radiate and cuirassed bust right, rev. fides militvm, Fides standing left, holding two ensigns, s p in field, c in exergue, 4.30g (RIC 69; Baldwin, NC 1930, no. 109 and pl. xiii, 10, this piece; C 8; Sear 13804; S 687A). Extremely fine and exceptionally well struck, the obverse almost perfectly centred, brown patina; one of the finest Antoninianii of Allectus in private hands £300-400
