Two men with this surname and initials on the C.W.G.C. website list: 2nd Lieutenant D. G. Owen, 3rd Battalion Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, who died 23 November 1916 and was buried at Cardigan Cemetery; and Private 31325 David Griffith Owen, 10th Battalion South Wales Borderers, who died on 26 August 1918, whose name is commemorated on the Vis-en-Artois Memorial, Pas de Calais.
