Vincent Joseph Murphy, a farmer in civilian life, was discharged from Roberts Horse on 7 May 1901, having served 1 year 118 days. He later served in the Field Intelligence Depatment. During the Great War he served as a Conductor in the South African Service Corps. M. and A. J. Murphy served in Roberts Horse during the Boer War. At the time of the Boer War, all three share a common at 14 Lawrence Street, Port Elizabeth. Sold with copied service papers.
