Lieutenant Cyril Walter Brown died of wounds in France and Flanders on 1 December 1917 whilst serving with the West Somerset Yeomanry, attached “H” Battalion, Tank Corps and his name is commemorated on the Cambrai Memorial, Louveral, France.
