Private John Stanley Jacobs, Somerset Light Infantry died in Burma on 25 April 1944, aged 35 years. He was buried in the Chittagong War Cemetery. He was the son of Morris and L. J. A. Jacobs of Holborn, London. Sold with named condolence slip and card medal forwarding box addressed to ‘? Jacobs, c/o Miss D. McCree, 16 Farringdon Rd., Farringdon Rd., London, E.C.1’.
