H.M.S. Audacious was commanded by Captain William Parker at the “Glorious First of June”. He was duly awarded the appropriate Small Naval Gold Medal, while one of his officers and 13 of his ratings lived to receive their Naval General Service Medals, but not, according to the published rolls, John Robson.
