Important British, Irish and World Banknotes

Templemore, One Pound, 1861 (2), different left and right sides, with an attempt to change the value to Ten Pounds; stuck down on paper with ‘Fraudulent’ across front in red ink and notation ‘Whole £1 Note fraudulently altered to represent £10 note’ underneath, with further left side and approximately two-thirds of another One Pound on same page [Lot]. Very good to fine (£100-150)
