Henry VI (First reign, 1422-1461), Leaf-Trefoil issue, Groat, London, mm. crosses IIIb/V, no leaf on breast, leaf after henric, di and gra, trefoil after rex, rev. leaf before lon, trefoil after don, 3.79g/4h (Whitton 25a; N 1484; S 1898). Hairline striking crack at 5 o’clock and legends weak in places, otherwise very fine with well-struck portrait, very rare (£200-250)
