War Memorial Erected, Nice, 1928, an Art Deco bronze medal by A. Lavrillier after A. Janniot, warrior clasping sword, head of wild boar behind, reverse the memorial, 72mm (Classens 104; cf. Baudey/Bricher 1992, 145; cf. BDW 9, 750 and 13, 294). Obverse rim nick at 7 o’clock, otherwise very fine and a powerful rendition (£50-70)
