William Watson, who was born in August 1910, enlisted in the R.A.M.C. in September 1940. Trained as a Medical Orderly, he was advanced to war substantive Sergeant in June 1942 and served with the 1st Army in North Africa.

He was discharged to the Army Reserve in February 1946; sold with the recipient’s original Soldiers’ Service and Army Book, a selection of wartime photographs (15) and Certificate of Transfer to the Army Reserve.
