Albert Cooper was born in Lambeth, Surrey and enlisted at Woolwich, Kent. Serving with the 1st Battalion Lancashire Fusiliers, he was killed in action at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915, aged 23 years. His name is commemorated on the Helles Memorial.

James Spellman was born in and enlisted at Liverpool. Serving in the Welsh Guards, he was killed in action on 30 July 1917, aged 19 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial.
