Early Anglo-Saxon Period, Sceatta, Series N, type 41a/b, two standing figures with elongated limbs and angular features, long cross pommée between them, rev. monster right, head reverted, pellets around, 1.09g/9h (Abramson 52-50; N 98; S 806). Hairline flan split at 1 o’clock and with some small areas of porosity, otherwise good very fine, bright metal £200-£260
