Iran, The 2,500th anniversary of the Founding of the Persian Empire, Persepolis, 1971, a bronze medal by W. Schiffer, heads of the Shah and a Daric King conjoined, rev. heraldic lions with Daric heads, 68mm; together with other Iranian medals (2), one in silver with the bust of Nasir-al-din-Shah, AH 1318 [1900], 36mm, the other in bronze with the seated figure of an Ayatollah, SH 1313 [1934], 90mm [3]. First extremely fine, second very fine, last fine (£40-50)
