Romano-British, late 2nd-3rd century silver ring, 5.73g, 2.3cm wide by 2cm deep; set with a blue glass intaglio imitating nicolo, moulded with a harpy standing left with outstretched wings and long tail. Very fine £200-£240
Provenance: Found at Much Hadham (Hertfordshire), before 1997 so not recorded by the PAS
