Hartley Wood attested for the Somerset Light Infantry and served with them during the Great War on the Western Front, before transferring to the Machine Gun Corps. He was discharged Class ‘Z’ Reserve on 24 February 1919.

Miles Rainforth attested for the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry and served with them during the Great War on the Western Front from 27 May 1915. He was discharged Class ‘Z’ Reserve on 25 March 1919.
