Bombahadur Gurung was born in 1941 and enlisted into the Gurka Engineers on 8 November 1958. Served in Malaya and was with the 69 Gurkha Independent Field Squadron in Brunei and later with the 68 Gurkha Independent Field Squadron in Borneo - these three clasps confirmed. His service details suggest he was also entitled to the ‘Malay Peninsula’ clasp. Promoted Lance Corporal in 1967, he was discharged on 26 September 1969. Sold with copied service details.
