Royal Navy L.S. & G.C., V.R., narrow suspension (Fk. Stock, Corpl. 28th Co. R.M.L.I.) engraved naming, very fine £80-100

Frederick Stock was born at Lavenham, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, and enlisted into the Royal Marines at Chatham on 11 May 1859, aged 14 years 4 months. He re-enlisted for a further period of nine years at Chatham on 19 January 1871 and received his L.S. & G.C. medal on 5 May 1875. Sold with copy enlistment papers.
