John Charles Gunn was born in Brighton and attested for the Norfolk Regiment in Wandsworth. He served with them during the Great War on the Western Front before transferring to the 1st/7th Battalion, Worcestershire Regiment, and was killed in action on 9 October 1917. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.

Alan Dobing Pearson attested for the Worcestershire Regiment and served with the 2nd Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front. He was killed in action on 21 May 1917; he has no known grave and is commemorated on the Arras Memorial, France.

Leonard George Halse, a native of Upper Edmonton, Middlesex, attested for the Middlesex Regiment on 5 September 1914 and served with the 1st/7th Battalion during the Great War initially in the Egyptian theatre of War from 1 September 1915. Transferring to the Western Front, he was wounded in action on the first day of the Battle of the Somme, 1 July 1916, and was subsequently killed in action on 3 May 1917. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Arras Memorial, France.

Robert Skeet, a native of Gillingham, Kent, attested for the Middlesex Regiment aged 37 in August 1916, and served with them during the Great War on the Western Front. He was killed in action on 18 October 1917; he has no known grave and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.
