Previously described by the present cataloguer as 1564/3/2 (?), the late vendor notes the following on his ticket ‘Same obverse die as E 1797 (1563/2) [C.H. Comber specimen]. Reverse compared with all BA-l7 (1563/2) and BA-n7 (1564/2) specimens but no die match. Reverse die not same as Shuttlewood 3E 1563/3 die. Oversize obliteration punch’
