Roman Imperial Coinage, Julian II (as Cæsar), Solidus, Rome, 355-7, d n cl ivlianvs n c, cuirassed bust right, rev. fel tem reparatio, Roma seated front, Constantinopolis seated left, resting right foot on ship prow, both supporting shield emblazoned with eight-rayed star, rsms and palm frond in exergue, 4.07g (RIC 295; Depeyrot 14/3; Sear 19024). Small edge loss between 9 and 11 o’clock, lightly creased and graffito in obverse field before face, otherwise good fine, rare £300-£400
