Leonard Thomas was born in 1901 and attested for the York and Lancaster Regiment at Stockton-on-Tees on 1 February 1916. He served with them on the North West Frontier of India, and transferred to the Reserve on 13 February 1925, after 9 years and 13 days’ service.

Sold together with the recipient’s Certificate of Transfer to the Reserve; and a photographic image of the recipient.
