[Anon], The Strife of the Scales: an attempt to explain how the King’s weigh-house and beams within the City of London came into the charge of the Worshipful Company of Grocers, London, 1884, 78pp including engraved illustrations and an ‘Argument’ signed by J.A.K. and dated January 1905. Red leather, gilt engraving on front, ribbed spine, marbled endpapers, t.e.g.; a trifle scuffed at corners, otherwise a fine copy and of interest to students of weights (£40-60)
