Chichester, Thomas Chaldecott [and Thomas Sharp, Portsmouth, Hampshire], Halfpence, 1794 (2), stop after philanthropist, 10.44g/12h (DH 19), elongated dot after philanthropist, 10.14g/12h (DH 20); Dally & Son, Halfpence, 1794 (4), dallys chichester edge, 10.81g/6h (DH 15), dallys [chichester] edge, 9.38g/12h (DH 16), edges plain (2), 10.05g/16h (DH 15b), 7.07g/12h (DH 16a); Kempson’s mule Halfpence (3), revs. Britannia seated, emsworth edge, 10.21g/6h (DH 17), london edge, 9.47g/6h (DH 17a), one cent edge, 10.52g/6h (DH 17b) [9]. DH 17b extremely fine with much original colour, DH 15b good fine, DH 16 fine, DH 16a about fine and extremely rare, others generally very fine or better, DH 17a very rare; a good group for the town (£90-120)
