Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Groat, 1644, mm. lis on obv. only, large crowned bust left, colon stops, rev. Shrewsbury plume, two lis and two pellets above Declaration, date and ox below, both between pellets, single pellet before legend, 1.80g/11h (Morr. C-2; SCBI Brooker –; N 2464; S 2986). Some surface marks, otherwise about very fine, rare £200-£260
