Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Shilling, 1642, mm. Oxford plume on obv. only, reads hi, rev. Declaration, three Oxford plumes above, reads leg ang, 5.84g/7h (Morr. D-3; cf. SCBI Brooker 924-5; N 2439; S 2971). Good fine, reverse a little better but weakly struck on last digit of date £400-£600
