Portobello Medals with Vernon’s portrait alone, Capture of Portobello, 1739, a pinchbeck medal, unsigned, three-quarter length figure of Vernon left, rev. two ships entering Portobello harbour, four waiting outside, 38mm (Adams PBv 36-II; Betts –; MI pl. clv, 18). Minor corrosion on reverse, otherwise about extremely fine £120-£150
